But I will say that I think the possibility remains that the company can generate returns closer to what it did more than five years ago, especially with the new ownership group, which I particularly favour. While waiting for that to play out, the company is extremely safe from a capitalization point of view.Saj Karsanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04493152766022812984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294165939647321702.post-51579401364281214992009-11-10T08:48:53.052-05:002009-11-10T08:48:53.052-05:00Pulled the trigger a bit too quickly, sorry... But my fundamental question still holds, ie returns on equity have been poor (ca 6% over the last 5y) and you should expect ROE/0.7 at current market price, so about 9% return, which does not seem terribly attractive, given that it's a small company that has been losing money recently.Povnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294165939647321702.post-15822840071813102652009-11-10T08:35:20.080-05:002009-11-10T08:35:20.080-05:00Hi Saj, quick question/observation. Capex and D&A are roughly the same, so FCFE yield is probably similarly low. That on its own would suggest to me that this is not that great of an opportunity. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks.Povnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294165939647321702.post-9583688246135194382009-10-26T10:42:41.291-04:002009-10-26T10:42:41.291-04:00Sounds like another good potential find.
