Facebook mobile does not seem to provide platform gaming or direct broadcasts on a user's achievements in a particular game, I believe, and newsfeed needs to be updated with permission from within the game. As a result, this free marketing appears less likely. If so, this could reduce the virality, unless users take it upon themselves to permit broadcasting from KING's mobile game to Facebook's newsfeed.

If you (or an experienced gamer reading this) knows more about how this works, please let me know if I'm mistaken. Nevertheless, I think you are implying that the source of the games' virality comes from desktop Facebook? You could be right. But I don't know why mobile Facebook couldn't also contribute to the games' virality in the same way if it's not already.Saj Karsanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04493152766022812984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294165939647321702.post-46709034238354341122014-10-29T13:01:48.357-04:002014-10-29T13:01:48.357-04:00Saj- another question.

Do you see this affecting King's revenues in a significant way? Was King's mobile business driven by popularity on Facebook, such that a going forward, declines in desktop social network gaming could impact their competitive prospects?

I'm trying to understand the underlying drivers of their initial popularity, competitive edge, and how the changing usage patterns may impact their ability to differentiate in the future.

I think King is a very interesting investment candidate, hence my pondering. Your informed insights would be helpful.

Thanks,
BF

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294165939647321702.post-34461810807175097792014-10-19T09:35:55.282-04:002014-10-19T09:35:55.282-04:00Thanks Saj. But at the current earnings/cash flow multiple of KING, one is not paying much to find out.Saj Karsanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04493152766022812984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7294165939647321702.post-53791375895960049152014-10-16T12:08:27.256-04:002014-10-16T12:08:27.256-04:00Saj,
