After almost 30 years, most people here still don't know and don't care about the atrocities of the communist regime. Many are reminiscing about the "good old days." Surprisingly, what you are talking about, is still not part of school curricula. Even the party is not banned. It just naturally morphed from "communist" to "socialist." Nothing changed inside. Only the dictator was trialled and never sentenced. Matter of fact, the current prime minister, who was his security detail back then, is a big fan of his - to the extent that even today he sings his praises - but otherwise blames the socialists for all the problems in the country.<br /><br />I try to imagine Merkel openly admiring Hitler's accomplishments :-)Studenthttp://studentofvalue.comnoreply@blogger.com
