Clock Zero

We are all fighting against the distractions posed by our phones. Blinking lights and enticing notifications draw us into the time-sucking beast, and only those with the mental energy to fight the primary urges can remain productive. Clock Zero: I'm not my social feed is about a group of people tired of this way of life, and so they do something about it.

It's a terrific story with a lot of unexpected twists and turns, which I appreciated. It's hard to sympathize with the main characters, though: you don't like how your phone is sucking you in, so you want to ruin it for everybody else too?

The author seems highly knowledgeable about a lot of things, including the social media culture he appears to despise!

Clock Zero: I'm not my social feed is nice and short and I recommend it to anyone looking for an escape from their feeds!
