I always look forward to Taleb's books, and Skin in the Game: Hidden Asymmetries in Daily Life was no different. I generally agree with the major themes of his books, and have found reading his books to be revelations of thoughts I feel like I already had even though I likely didn't.
Skin in the Game is nothing new to value investors, who will feel right at home with this topic. Taleb takes the concept to new levels by digging into what it has resulted in within various topics from religion to inequality.
I found Taleb rambly at times in the book, not that I minded; I generally enjoy reading his thoughts. I must admit though that I didn't always understand or agree with much of what he said. But even when I disagree, it's interesting to hear the arguments.
If you liked his other books, you'll probably like this one too. Enjoy!
