You won't find anything new among Dennis' suggestions. What's unique about this book (and every book written by someone who has made it big) is Dennis' own take on what the important factors are. Mixed throughout the book are also his own anecdotes of things that happened to him along the way, decisions he made, and why he would do the same again.
He doesn't think you have to be the most intelligent person, but you do have to want it so much that you are willing to quit your job and devote yourself to it. The choice of industry is very important, as he admits he got a bit lucky striking it rich in the declining magazine business. He also makes it clear that money will not make you happy; getting rich is simply a game, and if you don't see it as such you may expect too much from it.
Enjoy!
