Never Split the Difference: Negotiating as if Your Life Depended on It is THE best book on negotiating that I've read, and I've read a number of them both as part of courses and on my own.
What sets this book apart is that it's not list-y. You don't have to remember a ton of unrelated things related to psychology, logic and body language. Instead, a rather natural process is described, and re-enforced with a ton of examples drawn from the author's experience as head negotiator for the FBI.
The technique is intuitive, and you can practice it in your every day life since you probably negotiate relatively unimportant matters several times a day with the various people you interact with. I highly recommend the book.

And quite the pageturner, as well...
